Junior Competitions Autumn 2010
Peter Palmer Junior Team Relay takes place on September 4/5th in Nottingham.
PFO host the British School Score Champs at Witton Park on October 9th.
SELOC will host the regional round for the Yvette Baker Trophy at Tockholes on October 10th
PFO host the Capricorn Trophy on September 4th at Pendle Hill
North West Regional League
The framework for this competition is slowly being resolved
The imposition of the new 4-tier structure in 2011 and the ongoing Competitions Review have clouded the picture
New Incentive Schemes are being introduced alongside the increased participation drive
The Navigator Awards are based on completion of courses
The Racing Awards are based on speed around a course based on mins per km (Gold 12.5 Silver 15 Bronze 20)
This has been announced in the minutes of the latest Development Committee meeting on the BOF website.
The regional round for the Yvette Baker Trophy will be held on Subberthwaite Common on November 8th
New Competitions Framework will be consulated upon in 2010
This is to draw together the various junior and senior competitions that currently exist and consider if additional tiers are appropriate.
This has been announced in the minutes of the latest Development Committee meeting on the BOF website.
MDOC juniors won the Peter Palmer Junior Team relay held September 5th, in Middleton Park, Leeds.
There were also teams from BARRO,DEE,LOC,PFO,SROC and WCOC

British Champs weekend has moved to February 28th 2009, March 1st 2009
Owing to access permission being withdrawn for the original mid-March date.
Lakes 5 2010 has moved dates to avoid a clash with the World Masters Champs
New dates are August 18th - 24th 2010
